It can also help you keep off extra weight, improve your cholesterol, build stronger bones and muscles, and lower your risk of diabetes, stroke, and certain cancers. Brisk walk means, walking quite speedy than normal speed of walking depending on levels of fitness. One measure to quantify brisk walking is “steps per minute,” and 100 steps per minute is considered moderate intensity or brisk walking. Tips for properly walking - * Keep your head up while walking. * Keep your eyes forward.Focus on standing tall with your chin parallel to the ground * Lengthen your back.
