'Welcome to day 10 of your 30 day yoga challenge! A fun, energizing vinyasa flow that includes low impact cardio and interval training movements for a total body workout in just over 20 minutes. We begin with calming breath and some full body stretching exercises to open up tight shoulders, hips and hamstrings. Then we move and groove in a sweet, sweaty flow adding in some Hindu style push-ups, squats and other fun postures and movements that are easy on the joints but powerfully effective at building total body fitness. And when it\'s time to rest I sing you a special mantra in savasana to deepen your rest and integrate the energy from practice into your body, mind and heart. Today\'s mantra is often referred to as the verse on reality. It is a prayer from the ancient Upanishads that our mind and heart be opened to the true nature of reality. Here are the words using phonetic English spelling... Asato ma sad gamaya Tamaso ma jyotir gamaya Mrityor ma amritam gamaya Which roughly means,.. Lead us from untruth to truth Lead us from darkness to light Lead us from fear of death to knowledge of the eternal Self This vinyasa flow is great for yogis of all experience levels, including beginners, and for bodies of all shapes and sizes.
