The 36-year-old is no stranger to letting us in on how he gets fit, this week bringing two of his mates into his home gym to pump some weights and get those muscles hench(er). Taking to Instagram, Chris shared a pretty full-on clip to the backing tune of Grieg’s In the Hall of the Mountain King from Peer Gynt Suite. Which you just know is what Chris is probably pumping through his headphones when he’s doing some heavy shoulder presses. ‘Wrestling some iron with Jorge and Zoco while yelling loudly and playing dramatic music,’ Chris posted on Monday, encouraging his followers to check out his wellness app, Centr. From then the clip descended into madness with Chris’s BFF and trainer Luke Zocchi and pal Jorge Blanco taking part in a host of different exercises including bent over rows, kettlebell lunges into bicep curls, bear crawls, kettlebell squat jumps and more, with all three looking completely exhausted by the end of the workout! Frankly, the actor looked like he was going to vomit by the end of it. But most of all, can we please point out the range of grunts expelled by the men. If that is what it takes to lift the big boys then golly gosh get ready for our gym sessions to become a whole lot louder. The platform features workout hacks and diet tips with demonstrations from the man himself. And, naturally, it became an instant hit shooting to number one on the app charts shortly after release. It’s hard to remember a time when Chris didn’t have bulging biceps but the actor recently revealed he struggled to get into a fitness routine before taking up his role as the Marvel superhero. Speaking to Men’s Health in March, the actor explained: ‘I did struggle the first time around. Before Thor, I was always much leaner. ‘A lot of my training was cardio-based – surfing, flexibility work. So, the first eight months or so were brutal. Now, I feel like I could do it in eight weeks.’ He added: ‘It’s just down to muscle memory and smarter training. The knowledge you acquire is so important. I was doing it completely wrong at first. Back then, I just ate huge steaks, chic'
