'On the weekend of August 26th - 27th, over 100 members of Anytime Fitness in Concord Township, Ohio, took on our Third Annual \"Anytime Fitness 24 in 24\" at Classic Park, the home of the Lake County Captains. The event involves each athlete attempting to complete one mile every hour for 24 consecutive hours. It is as mentally challenging as it is physically challenging, but our members take it on to help us raise funds for A Special Wish Cleveland Chapter, and specifically for Lake County children fighting life threatening illnesses. The children we do this for have battled through chemotherapy, surgeries, complications from surgeries, amputations, seizures, infections, and transplants. A Special Wish Cleveland treats these kids weekly to ice cream, toys, private movie showings, baseball games, and even takes their parents out for nights on the town and out of the hospital. They also, of course, give all of their kids a \"Big Wish\" when they\'re healthy enough. A Special Wish has over 100 children to support, and they need funding to help create the miracles they deliver to these children. That\'s where we step in! With the help of those who ran, who donated, and who volunteered, we were able to raise $75,000 for A Special Wish Cleveland Chapter! We ran for 5 Wish Children- Maya, Kylie, Sofia, Hayden, and Maja- but the funds we raised are likely to help many more children then that. Our contribution was the largest that A Special Wish Cleveland has ever received. To say we are proud is an understatement. We couldn\'t do this without our members believing in us, supporting us, and choosing us as their fitness center. We thank every member for being a part of our Anytime Fitness family and we hope you appreciate the efforts we make to make your community a better place. This year each of our 5 teams was sponsored by an organization, and those donations were a huge help.
