'Functional Training: Adventure Race Level 2 Workout of the Week'

'Our Adventure Race Level 1 workout used a number of different pieces of equipment, but this time we ramp things up to level 2 and it’s all down to one piece of kit: the kettlebell.  One training tool: multiple training outcomes.  Kettlebells are a great tool for developing the strength and endurance that are both essential for good performance in an adventure race. And remember: building strength gives us a superb foundation for speed, power, mobility and agility, which are all qualities essential for all-round fitness.  There are four exercises per round, with a schedule like this:  30 seconds on each exercise. A quick transition between each exercise. 60 seconds of rest after each round.
