You can try everything to lose fat pounds but it all boils down to calories. If you eat more calories then you burn up in a day you will put on stored fat. My explanation is general and what I have found to really work, if and when you decide to lose weight. When you are over fifty years old, you don\'t want to start gaining weight. Listen to my short story on calories and start keeping track. It\'s fun and interesting to start reading the labels on everything you eat. A simple thing to remember is it takes 100 calories an hour to stay alive. That is 24 hundred calories a day for a man. If you only put in 2000 calories a day you\'ll lose almost a pound a week. That\'s 52 pounds this year. There are fun calorie charts for everything and exercise will burn more calories. When eating nothing at all ( FASTING ) but only drinking water, a man will lose about one pound a day.
