'Merinda - My Story with Snap Fitness'

'My name is Merinda, I\'m a proud Aboriginal woman. I come from the land of the Yorta Yorta and the Kamilaroi. I started my journey in 2017 when I saw my physio and he told me I needed to address my weight. I was about 124 125 kilos. I look back now at myself and I saw a girl who was sad unmotivated to now and I\'m 60 kilos lighter, but 60 kilos lighter of self-doubt. I think that pivotal moment when it went from a little spark to a fire was I went to another trainer who taught me deadlifting and he said you know pick this up off the ground and i thought no I can\'t do that.   And now I\'m lifting numbers that I never even thought was humanly possible for someone my age and of my background. I cannot stress enough to anyone that healthy eating exercise isn\'t just about how you look on the outside it changes your sleeping pattern it changes your mindset it changes the way you look at yourself.
