'In this video I discuss a proper Follow Through which allows you to have quicker follow up shots and more often than not due to human error, accurate shots. When training it is important to separate drills from scenario based training. Is it necessary to be locked in the sights after each shot and be prepared to engage further? Not unless you are training as scenario based which you would treat it as a human threat. How often can we say that there is a certain amount of rounds that incapacitates a threat? Even if the threat will die due to the wounds, I have personally seen the enemy fight for minutes after fatal shots were delivered. Never go back a round count. Until the threat is down and can be verified it is no longer a threat (incapacitated), it is wise to treat it as such, and do not assume a round count will do the job. If you are simply focusing on accuracy or speed drills it is not necessary, however it is important to understand without intelligent processing of the drill, you can and will build bad habits that will carry over into a real gun fight.
