Roundhouse kicks also called round kicks are done by extending the leg planar level with the thigh. She\'s just isolating the lower leg part of the kick, so you see as she extends she\'s holding her knee really still. She\'s going to put that motion together with the step down, and kicking from the ground, she\'s going to bring that roundhouse kick around. She\'s got a nice high kick. Try to kick somewhere between waist high and head high when you\'re practicing on a bag. Currently she\'s kicking this kick with the in-step of her foot, she\'s pointing her toes and hitting with that nice flat surface along the top of her foot where her shoe laces are. More common in some Martial Arts circles is to kick round kicks with the ball of the foot. She\'s flexing her ankle back, nice and tight, and she\'s kicking with the ball of her foot pretty much in the same place she was kicking before with her in-step, but now she\'s using a much smaller surface area delivering more force per square inch.
